What We Collect

Server logs: Our web server records standard access logs, which include IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, and the browser string your device sends. These are retained by our hosting provider as part of normal server operations. We don't process or analyze these logs to track individual users.

No analytics platform: This site does not load Google Analytics, any tag manager, or any third-party analytics script. There are no advertising pixels. There are no third-party tracking calls made from our pages. If you open your browser's network inspector while browsing SafePornExpert, you won't see calls to analytics.google.com, googletagmanager.com, or similar.

Safety Checker: The Safety Checker tool runs entirely in your browser. When you enter a domain, the lookup happens client-side against a dataset that's downloaded once with the page. No request is sent back to our server with the domain you typed. We have no record of what sites you've checked.

No accounts: We don't offer registration or login. There's nothing to collect because there's no sign-up flow, no comment system, no saved favorites. The less data held, the less that can be compromised, which is the point of this site in the first place.

Cookies

We do not set advertising cookies. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not use any cookies for user profiling or cross-site tracking. Your browser may cache page assets (images, scripts) as it would for any website, but that's browser-controlled caching, not a cookie we set. There are no opt-in or opt-out banners because there's nothing to opt out of.

Affiliate Links

When you click a "Visit Safely" button or any other affiliate link, you leave SafePornExpert and arrive at the destination site under that site's own privacy policy. We receive a referral commission if you sign up. We do not receive any personal data about you from the destination site. The affiliate tracking is handled entirely by the destination's affiliate program, we just pass a referral ID in the URL.

Affiliate relationships don't influence safety scores. A site can pay us commissions and still score poorly if it fails our checks. Safety scores are based on independent testing, not commercial relationships.

Third Parties

We load fonts from Google Fonts and Tailwind CSS from a CDN. Those third-party servers see your IP address when your browser fetches those resources. We load no ad networks, no embedded social widgets, no retargeting scripts. Hosting is on a VPS provider that processes standard server logs per its own terms.

Your Rights (GDPR, UK, CCPA)

Under GDPR and similar regulations you have the right to know what personal data we hold. The honest answer is: none, beyond what a web server logs by default. We don't build profiles, don't link your visits across sessions, and don't sell data. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@safepornexpert.com. For CCPA: we do not sell personal information.

This site is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle data (for example, if we add an analytics platform), we'll update this page and change the date at the top. We won't silently add tracking. Contact: privacy@safepornexpert.com.
